General Information For The Hunter
All camps and accommodations offered are of a high standard and approved by the Department of Nature Conservation to ensure your comfort. Hot and cold running water is available. Some camps have electricity which is 220 volt. Converters are needed for American appliances. During your stay you will be the only party in camp and hunting area. Laundry is done daily and all camps are well equipped and stocked with soft drinks and a selection of liquor. Wines are also available. Staff members are trained to provide excellent personal attention and superb food.
HUNTING AREAS
Sportsman’s Safaris has access to some of South Africa’s finest hunting areas. Due to the variety of species offered for hunting, concession areas range from arid, semi-desert to dense forest. Hunting is conducted in the areas where the best trophies can be obtained.
HUNTING SEASON
Hunting is available throughout the year, however the best period is from March to November. Bird shooting is only available from May through August.
